About Jimmy

I am 1 of 4 James Smiths. My dad was well liked, there are three of us in the family named James Smith. Married to Pamela for 47 years. We have two girls and three granddaughters. I have worked hard for most of my life. A USMC vet, and belonged to the 3rd Marine Air Wing. Handyman for about the last 30 years. We are raising our two youngest granddaughters. .

I have tried to make a living working on other peoples stuff and over the years I have meet some really interesting people, a few of them were in WW2. The stories they tell make you wonder how they even made it home. My main goal was to repair what they needed. My wife would ask me what did you do today. Well I bought Beer and Cigarettes for Carol who was 80 years old and why, well she didn’t want anyone to know that she was smoking and drinking. I have bought a goft carts. I have taken their cars and had them washed, picked them up walking home from the stores. Then there are times when they just need to talk to someone. LET ME TELL YOU, I AM NO SAINT! I build trust this way.

I treat people as people, don’t care what you look like, where you came from. If you need me call and I’ll be there . There is so much to say that if you are not a sleep yet I, ll stop and move on. Thank You!

Now to the work at hand;

   I am trying to get into something I know something about, DEBT. I am not the King of Debt but bow to it. I have found over time that we were able to get out of debt just to have ME put us right back in. So here I am trying to give you some food for thought. Debt has ended marriages, separated friends, caused breakdowns and even Death. There is some Debt you can’t live without. House payments, car payments and insurance, medical and electric. I am sure there are others. So this site is to bring some lite to the problem of Debt and maybe help YOU manage and even get out of Debt.

   Now the really big one is to go Bankrupt.

Origin of Bankrupt;

   Medieval Latin, Bianca Rupta, Bank Broken, Replacing Adaptation of Italian Bianca Rota and French Banqueroutein same since Law: a person who upon his or her own petition or that of his or her creditors is adjudged insolvent by a court and whose property is administered for and divided among his or her creditors under a bankruptcy law.any insolvent debtor; a person unable to satisfy any just claims made upon him or her.a person who is lacking in a particular thing or quality: a moral bankrupt.adjective

   Bankrupt; can take almost all your Debt away. Student loans are not. Some Federal Taxes are not. You need a Lawyer to help you get through it. Do your home work. Ask around, find that person that can help you. Your credit score will go down. After you go bankrupt you can rebuild your credit, if you can find a company that will extend you credit do this, make all your payments on time your score will go up. You can do this now that you have gone Bankrupt. Be smart don’t get in over your head again.

   Bill consolidation: Bill consolidation is another big word. This is where you want to save your credit and take your DEBT and tie it up into one big payment. This is a good deal if you don’t go out and make more DEBT on top of the consolidation loan. This is where a lot of people get into more trouble. Now instead of using a shovel to dig your hole you are now using a back hoe!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Trusteeship; This is where you can get help from your creditors. You sign up at your local gov’t they go over your needs, they consolidate your bills. Then you take your check to them and they take out your payment, this is a percent of your check, so you can’t cheat you need to have them to cash your check. Again this is just one way to get rid of high DEBT.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              DEBT RELIEF; There are programs around to help you get out of DEBT. They take your DEBT, they get you a reduced settlement. This process requires you to give the DEBT you need relief from to them so they can work on your behalf to reduce your total payment. During this process you make no payments to your creditors, and only to the DEBT RELIEF companys. Your repayment plan depends on the amount of DEBT, most are about 36 months. Your credit score will drop but you will only be making one payment to one company. also you can split the bill weekly, biweekly or monthy. The benfit to DEBT RELIEF programs is there is no more interest on any of your DEBT that is in the program. There are cases where the interest alone saved is enough to make the payment.

    The best way to take care of your DEBT is to do your home work. Don’t be overtaken by it. It’s not some monster waiting for you to go to sleep so it can carry you away to debtville where you will never be seen again. Take control, the person on the other end of the phone is just doing a job and some of them really try and work out a way for you to recover. SO BE STRONG STAND TALL, DON’T WORRY BE HAPPY.

    So here we are I hope this helped you to find a way out of your DEBT. Please if you have anything to add to this page do so in the comment section, it might just be the one thing that someone else needs to see.  THANK YOU

All the best,

James Smith

Why we need money!

                                                                                                                                                                  They say that the love of money is the root of all Evil. No the love of money over everything else is! It is said that Bill Gates and others like him pay little or no taxes. This could be true. But for them to do this they have to give away a lot of money so as not to give the money to the gov”t. This way they are able to help others more.                                                                                  Lets look at some of the ways that we have to spend our money. If you are of the one percent, you have a lot of money. They have to have people looking out for them so that they can keep their money. I don’t care what they do, they have their own problems. Yes they might have a lot but they also spend a lot to keep it. They are no deferent from us, they still have bills. If they pay cash for a big ticket item there is the tax, up keep, and storage.                                                                                                                                                                                               Aircraft, you just don’t get in and fly away. There are things like maintenance, a pilot, crew and all the stuff to keep it in the air, like gas and a place to keep it when not in use. Your crew gets paid to be on stand by so when you want to go somewhere they make it ready to go. This takes lots and lots of money. Then look at the way some live their lives. You just can’t go out to dinner, without someone wanting to talk to you. Then you have security around all the time, and this cost money. So being rich really looks good on the out side but it takes a lot of work to keep it.

Lotto winners, you would think that after winning the lotto that life would be great for the rest of your life. For a very few they get a plan together so to be able to keep the money working for them. Here we are again, we need someone to watch our money so we don’t get into trouble. There are some winners that after the money is gone they are in in worse shape now than before they won. Get a plan together before you spend it all on nothing.
